Why did I create this?

Having started my own property investment journey last year I asked all the usual questions: “What do I look for when viewing a potential property?”, “If I need to renovate, what should I do first”, etc. I also went looking for examples of spreadsheets and templates I could customise from those who’d done it before but nothing I found quite worked or they were wrapped up inside some insanely expensive course.

I then found ClickUp where I created my own lists of tasks as a way of keeping track of potential deals, which I then turned into tracking purchases, then into a project plan for refurbishment and now it tracks reoccurring jobs, so I can’t forget about them.

With the help of some seasoned property investors, I created this template to help others save time by better managing their workload. I've spent over 100 hours working on it, so you don't have to spend time building it yourself.

What is ClickUp? Do you work for them?

ClickUp is a very configurable “To Do” List Software you can use on your phone or laptop. It’s comparable to Asana, Trello or Notion but I’ve found it much more powerful. Does this work on the free version of ClickUp?

Yes using ClickUp’s “Free Forever” pricing tier you can copy and test but it does have limits and restrictions on usage. To use this template properly you will need to sign up to a paid plan, starting at just £3.54 per month

Can I use the templates without ClickUp?

Yes using ClickUp’s “Free Forever” pricing tier (just sign up with your email address) you can export just the tasks and lists into a CSV file for you to use in excel; giving you some of the key information but without the software.

How do I access the ClickUp template?

What makes you, Chris qualified to create this?

I’ll be very honest. I don’t have a property empire bankrolling yachts and champagne. I actually spend my time designing and creating software, whilst only recently getting into property. I created this template with the help of far more experienced property investors and it’s what I’ve used as part of my property journey so far.
